22 September, raipur,National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur marked Swachhata Pakhwada Swachhotsav 2025 with a series of awareness-driven events, including an essay writing competition and a cultural dance performance highlighting the importance of cleanliness and civic responsibility. The events were organized under the nationwide initiative Swachhata Hi Seva 2025.The Literati Committee at NIT Raipur conducted an essay competition on the theme “Swachhata Hi Seva”, drawing enthusiastic participation from students who shared their insights on the significance of personal and community hygiene. The event also served as a platform to sensitize participants about the broader objectives of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.Complementing the literary event, Nrityam: The Dance Club staged an engaging performance titled “Echoes of Swachhata”. Through expressive movements and powerful storytelling, the performers highlighted key themes such as cleanliness, sustainability, and collective responsibility. The performance, set to the swachhta anthem Swachhmev Jayate, underscored how small, conscious actions by individuals can contribute significantly to building a cleaner and healthier nation.The programme was attended by faculty members, including Dr. Manoj Chopkar, Dr. Suvendu Rup, Dr. Sudhakar Pandey, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Dr. T. P. Sahu, Dr. Y.
