Central Bank of India Launches Financial Inclusion Mega Campaign, ₹52 Crore Disbursed to 570 Beneficiaries in Naya Raipur

25 agust , raipur,The Central Bank of India has launched a three-month Financial Inclusion Mega Campaign to expand access to formal banking services. The campaign commenced with a grand event in Naya Raipur, where the Bank organized a Retail Credit Camp and disbursed a total of ₹52 crore to 570 beneficiaries. On this occasion, the Bank’s General Manager, Mr. D.S. Rathore, and Raipur Mayor, Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, were present as special guests.The campaign seeks to bring more citizens under the ambit of financial services. As part of the initiative, new accounts are being opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), while enrollments are being promoted in the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). In addition, pending Re-KYC of savings accounts is being completed, account nominations are being updated, and awareness sessions on digital fraud prevention, unclaimed deposits, and grievance redressal mechanisms are being conducted.The entire campaign is being led by Zonal Head Mr. B.R. Rama Krishna Nayak and Raipur Regional Head Mr. R.K. Kerketta. Deputy Zonal Head Mr. R.K. Singh, Assistant General Manager (Anka) Mr. Sunit Rana, and Deputy Regional Head (Raipur) Mr. Naresh Dubey were also present.This mega initiative by the Central Bank of India is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening financial inclusion and empowering communities across both rural and urban areas.
