Sukma, September 6, 2026: The Sukma Police’s campaign against cybercrime and online fraud has received a major boost, with renowned singer and music composer A.R. Rahman joining the initiative.On a special appeal made by Sukma Police under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Mayank Gurjar, A.R. Rahman has released a special video message urging people to stay alert against cybercrime and adopt safe and responsible digital practices.Through his message, Rahman appealed to citizens to remain vigilant while using digital platforms and exercise caution against online fraud and cyber-related crimes.

The message comes as part of the ‘Cyber Jagruti Abhiyan’, being conducted by the Chhattisgarh Police and the state government from August 15 to October 2 to create awareness about cybercrime prevention, digital security and safe online behaviour.Under the guidance and coordination of Additional Superintendents of Police Rohit Shah and Manoj Tirkey, Sukma Police is conducting various awareness activities across the district as part of the campaign.
The initiative aims to take the message of cyber safety to a wider section of society and encourage citizens to make secure digital practices a part of their everyday lives.
Sukma Police Appeals to Citizens :- Never share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking details with strangers.- Do not click on suspicious links or trust unknown calls and messages without verification.- Exercise extreme caution while making online transactions.- In case of cyber fraud, immediately contact the police or call the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930.“Be cyber-aware, stay safe and build a secure digital future.”
